My keyboard does not match the keys in Typing Pal. This prevents me from progressing. What should I do?
An incorrectly configured keyboard will prevent you from performing exercises. Most reported issues are related to incorrect keyboard configurations. Your physical keyboard must match the keyboard configured in Typing Pal.
To confirm that you are experiencing a configuration issue, try typing the characters that cause the issue into a document or an email to check whether the keys are properly mapped.
To map the keyboard configuration in your Typing Pal account, please proceed as follows:
- Log in to your Typing Pal account.
- From the homepage, go to My settings > Language and keyboard.
- Change the Platform, Input method, and Layout settings so that the Preview matches your physical keyboard.
